Robinson/Planning Director ~ <br /> <br /> Subject: Resolution from Board of County Commissioners requesting <br /> state funding assistance for the Cabarrus County Land <br /> Records Management Progr~a~. <br /> <br /> Date: July 1, 1985 <br /> <br /> In conjunction with the County's continuing efforts to implement a <br /> computerized Land Records Management Program, the Land Records Department <br /> is preparing a grant application for f~nding assistance from the North <br /> Carolina Department of Administration. We do not know the amount of mouey <br /> available to the County, but do feel some assistance will be provided if <br /> applied for. <br /> A prerequisite to submitting this application is the passage of a <br /> resolution by the Board of County Commissioners requesting such funding <br /> assistance and stating that it is the County's intent to develop a modern <br /> Land Records Program. <br /> ! would like to request that this item be placed on the agenda for <br /> consideration by the Co~issioners at their next meeting. A draft <br /> resolution has been prepared and is attached. I need to have the adopted <br /> resolution by the 10th of July in order to submit an application to the <br /> State. <br /> <br /> <br />
