I. Cross-Connections <br /> <br /> Cross-connections are expressly prohibited, and <br />may result in removal of meter supplying such cOnnectiOn as <br />well as all other penalties, civil or criminal, provided by <br />law. An example of this would be the inter-connection of a <br />well Water supply with a potable public water supply. Upon <br />discovery of s cross-connection upon any property being <br />furnished water through the District Water System, the owner <br />of the property is to be notified that the cross-connection <br />must be discontinued immediately; and, that a failure to <br />remove or correct the cross-connection will result ~n the <br />removal of his meter. If the correction Is not made, the <br />meter ie to be removed and is not to be reinstalled without <br />payment of the standard cut on fee and a 825.00 penalty. <br /> <br /> J. Inspection nf Plumhlnp <br /> <br /> The District reserves tho right to make a meter <br /> reading[s) inspect plumbing on a <br /> and <br /> the <br /> customer's <br />property. Thio may be done in the case of an abnormally <br />largo water bill, in cases of extreme eater wastage, use of <br />water detrimental to the District System, or other reasons <br />deemed necessary by th~ District. <br /> <br /> K. Discontinuance of Service <br /> <br /> Request for discontinuance of water service must <br />be received by the District et least twenty-four [2~) hours <br />prior requested water charges must paid <br /> to <br /> cut-off. <br /> be <br />including water used to the time of cut-off. A person purchasing <br />property where the meter has been removed for non-payment of <br />bills will become a new customer and may obtain services by <br />paying the standard meter deposit and cut-on fee. <br /> <br /> <br />
