I. Cross-Connections Cross-connections are expressly prohibited, and may result in removal of meter supplying such cOnnectiOn as well as all other penalties, civil or criminal, provided by law. An example of this would be the inter-connection of a well Water supply with a potable public water supply. Upon discovery of s cross-connection upon any property being furnished water through the District Water System, the owner of the property is to be notified that the cross-connection must be discontinued immediately; and, that a failure to remove or correct the cross-connection will result ~n the removal of his meter. If the correction Is not made, the meter ie to be removed and is not to be reinstalled without payment of the standard cut on fee and a 825.00 penalty. J.
