Water for Sale .Lo. Other publig Utilities <br /> <br /> Water may be sold to other Public Utilities <br />under the following conditions: <br /> <br /> (I) Water will be sold only to systems approved <br /> by the State of North Carolina and ragu'Isled <br /> by the North Carolina Utilities Commission. <br /> <br /> (2) The system must have been in operation and <br /> approved prior to March 20, 19§4_ <br /> <br /> (3) The utility desiring service must agree to <br /> pay all cost for the installation of e meter <br /> as 'specified by the County. <br /> <br /> (4) The purchaser must agree that service will <br /> be limited to those lots, streets, or units <br /> that ere in existence prior to the dele <br /> established in item (2). <br /> <br /> (5) The utility desiring service must agree to <br /> pay for eli water metered based on the <br /> standard residential w~ter rets, but no less <br /> than the minimum billing times the number of <br /> <br /> IV. ~UTHORITY AND ADOPTION OF REGULATIONS <br /> <br /> A. Authority <br /> <br /> These rules and regulations shall be reviewed <br />annually on April Ist and may be amended from time to time <br />by the Board of County Commissioners, and in no way <br />affects existing contracts which may be in force between the <br />Board of Commissioners and other bodies, public or private; <br />and shall in no way restrict the Commissioners negotiating <br />future contracts with other bodies, public or private. <br /> <br /> B.
