Please let me know before our nex"t meeting, on <br /> ,January 15, 1986, who your Board choo§es to be your 1986 delegate. <br /> <br /> You may also wish to designate one or more alternate delegates. If you <br /> designate more than one, please indicate who is first alternate, second alternate, <br /> etc. <br /> <br /> l've attached a list of the 1985 Delegates. There were six (6) Council of <br /> Governments meetings in 1985. The number beside each Delegate's name indieates <br /> the number of those meetings attended by the Delegate or alternate in 1985. <br /> Please name a dele6ate who is going to attend the meetings! <br /> <br /> 2) Executive Committee Membership <br /> <br /> Delegates from County governments are automatically members of the Executive <br /> Committee. <br /> <br /> All the municipal delegates in each County choose one municipal delegate from <br /> their number to serve on the Executive COmmittee. The municipal members of <br /> the Executive Committee are normally chosen bY County Caucuses at the January <br /> Centralina meeting. On Mecklenburg County, Charlotte's delegate is automatically <br /> an Executive Committee member. The other five municipal delegates normally <br /> choose one of their number es an Executive Committee members. But since <br /> Charles Yandell from Pineville will be our Chairman in 1986, he will represent <br /> them on the Executive Committee).
