NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING AND INTENTION TO SUBMIT TO THE DEPARTMENT OF COMMERCE AN APPLICA'[ION FOR APPROVAL OF AN INDUSTRIAL PROJECT The Cabarrus County Industrial Facilities and Pollution Control Financing Authority has determined to issue its revenue bonds in the principal amount ~$800~-~}'(~'0i~:the~financing of all or a portion of the cost of an industrial project and intends to submit to the Secretary of the Department of Commerce an application for approval of the project if the issuance of the revenue bonds and the project are ap- proved by the Board of County Commissioners of the County of Cabarrus, North Carolina. A memorandum of agreement committing the Authority to said action was entered into between the Authority and Morrison Millwork,~lnc. on November 1~I', 1983. The Project consists of the ourchase of approximately~l'8~a~"bf;'real;p~(~perty located on the norlhwest side of N.C. Highway ~19approximately one-fourth mile from the Mecklenburg County line in Harrisburg, North Carolina, the construction of a production building and a number of free-standing support buildings and facilities thereon and the purchase of various items of equipment to be used in the manufacture, assembly and distribution of windows, doors and related items. The Project will be operated by~,M~¥~ison;Millwo£k~lnc, and will~create:~apprdximately eight:jobs~ The Project is ,e. stimated~ to cost a total of,~$:17~,~)~)0~ 00, Take notice that the Board of County COmmissioners of the County of' Cabarrus will hold a public hearing in the County Commissioners' Meeting Room, Cabarrus County Courthouse, Concord, North Carolina,' on January 3, 1984 at 9:30 A.M. at which any person may be heard regarding the proposed issuance of such revenue bonds and the Project. Following the hearing, the Board of County Commissioners intends to con- sider and take action on p~-oposals to approve the issuance of such revenue bonds and to approve the Project in principle. Any person wishing to comment in writing on the proposed revenue bonds and the Project and the submission of the application in connection therewith should do so, within 1~ days after the date of publication of this notice, to the Authority, at Post Office Box 707, Concord, North Carolina 28025, Attention: Chairman, and to the Board of Commissioners for Cabarrus County, Attention: Chairman, at Post Office Box 707, Cencord, North Carolina 28025, and to Victor M.
