CABARRUS COUNTY
Post Office Box 707
CONCORD. NORTH CAROLINA 28025

February 9, 198~,

Mr. R. B. Brannan,Chairman
Cabarrus County Industrial Facilities
and Pollution Control Authority
410 Brook Court, Southeast
Concord, North Carolina 28026

Dear Bob:

Your term and the terms of Guy Cress and Peggy Dry on the
Authority have expired. I also understand that Imeldia Eller has
resigned. The Board of Commissioners has requested that the Autho-
rity make recommendations for replacements to be appointed. Inas-: -
much as the County policy is that the maximum length a person may
serve on a Board is six years, it is necessary to appoint new members
although I am informed that the services of those Whose terms have
expired has been outstanding.

I would appreciate it if you could poll the members of the Autho-
rity either by sending them a copy of this letter or otherwise or calling
a meeting of the Authority to discuss appointments. The next meeting
of the Board is February 20. If I could have your recommendations by
February 16, it would appreciated.

Thank you for your cooperation.

Yours very truly,

Charles D. McGinnis
Cabarrus County Manager

CDM/m
