The Division off Health Services acting in behalf of the State of North Carolina, <br /> by offers~ <br /> <br /> To make a State 9rant to the above named Applicant subject to the assurances included <br />~ this document as Section II, in order to aid in financing the construction of the project <br />Jrsusnt to the North Carolins Clean Water Bond Act of 1977. The amount of the State 9rant <br />· 11 not exceed the appropriate percentage of the estimated eligible portion of.the reason- <br /> ".e construction cost of the project, as established by the ^ct; and, in the event the <br /> ~tual eligible portion of the reasonable construction cost, as determined by the Division <br /> f Health Services upon completion of construction, is less than the estimated eligible <br /> ortion of the reasonable construction cost upon ~hich the grant offer is based, such a~tusl <br /> ligibla cost shall be used to determine the amount of the State grant; and the grant payment <br /> hall be ~edueed ss necessary to conform ~ith the limita~ions hereinabove cited. <br /> <br /> In addition, this offer ie made subject to completion of Part 8 of this Offer and <br />ccaptsnce, and to the following conditions: <br /> <br /> 1. That no construction of ~he projec~ shall be undertaken, and no contract(s) for <br /> construction, alteration, or installation of community ~ater systems shall be <br /> entered into prior to approval of plans and specifications by the Division of <br /> Health Services. <br /> <br /> 2. Applicant ~ill furnish information ~hich satisfactorily demonstrates the <br /> availability of funds~ other than State 9~ant funds, to pay the remaining <br /> costs of the project. <br /> <br /> ~.
