This agreement is entered into this day of , 19811 by <br /> and between Car ter-Gohle Assoclates, Inc. (hereinafter called the <br /> "Consultant") and Caharrus County Ihereinafter called the "Client"). <br /> <br /> This agreement amends only those relevant sections of the original <br /> contract. All other sections of the original contract remain intact as <br /> originally stated in the contract document between the Consultant and the <br /> Client, executed April 5, 1983. <br /> <br /> SECTION I. PURPOSE OF CONTRACT <br /> <br /> The purpose of the study contract is hereby revised to include assistance <br /> to the Client in evaluating the feasibility of developing coordinated <br /> agency and rural public transportation services for Cabarrus County, as <br /> well as for the Kanlacon Urban ./~rea. The additional tasks to be undertaken <br /> by the Consultant through this scope expansion are amended hereto as <br /> Attachment A of this contract amendment. <br /> <br /> ¢ <br /> <br /> SECTION II. STUDY AREA <br /> <br /> The specific study for this project includes the Kanlacon Urban Area and <br /> the balance of Caharrus County, North Carolina. <br /> <br /> SECTION IV. TIME SCHEDULE <br /> <br />The Consultant agrees to complete the additional, amended scope of work and <br />produce the final report by or before June 30, 1984. <br /> <br /> SECTION V. METHOD OF PAYMENT <br /> <br />The amended maximum total amount to be paid to the Consultant shall not <br />exceed twenty-one thousand, four hundred and seventy-three dollars <br />($21,~173). <br /> <br /> <br />
