Box 664 <br />Concord, North Carolina 28025 <br /> <br />Dear Mr. Chairman: <br /> <br />Our Board of Transportation wil) hold a series of fourteen (14) public meetings <br />for the purpose of obtaining information to assist us in reviewing and updating <br />the Transportation Improvement Program. A listing of these meetings is attached. <br /> <br />Your comments on needs and current program schedules as they affect your area <br />are requested. You are encouraged to attend the meeting for your county and <br />present your recommendations and priorities. If you find one of the other <br />meetings more convenient, please attend it or submit your comments in writing <br />to this office. <br /> <br />The Transportation Improvement Program has proven to be an excellent approach <br />in setting priorities for the many worthwhile highway needs statewide. Your <br />participation will assure proper and adequate attention is given to transpor- <br />tation needs in your area, both now and for the future. <br /> <br />Thank you for supporting our Transportation Improvement Program.
