PETITION FOR Tile EXTENSION OF TBE BOUNDARIES OF THE KANNAPOLIS SANITARy DISTRICT TO the Board Of Commissioners of the Kannapolis Sanitary District: The undersigned, owners of all of the land described herginbelow, respectfully petition that all necessary action required by Part ~ of Article 2 of Chapter 130A of the General Statutes of North Carolina for the extension of the boundaries of the Kannapolis Sanitary District in Cabarrus and Rowan Counties be ~aken so as to annex said land and include the same within the boundaries Of the said Kannapolis Sanitary District under the authority of said Part 2 of Article 2 of Chapter I30A of the General Statutes of North Carolina. The purpose of this petition is the annexation of the land or territory described below to said Kannapolis Sanitary District so that said district will include said territory within its boundaries and so that water and sewerage facilities and other utilities and services which said district is authorized to provide may be provided in said territory for the preservation and promotion of the public health and sanitary welfare therein. The petitioners understand that all costs for the installation of the necessary water and sewer lines in the territory hereinafter described and the connection thereof to the existing lines of the district and legal expenses and costs of annexation will be at their expense, and that all water and sewer lines will be installed in accordance with the plans and specifications approved by the district and that ali work and other matters done in connection with said annexation will be in accordance with the provisions of the districtis rules, regulations and policies. The petitioners understand that the lines installed by them, being on their own property, shall be the responsibility of the petitloner~ to maintain. The boundaries of the territory petitioned to he annexed to and included in the ~a~napolis Sanitary District are as follows: BEGINNING at a point in the boundary line of the Kannapolis Sanitary District where said boundary line intersects the petitioner's southern property line, this point lying 145 feet, more or less, north of the point where the sanitary distric~ boundary line intersects the northern edge of Moose Roadi and runs thence along the boundary line of th~ Eannapolis Sanitary District in a northerly direction 160 feet, more or less, to a point in petitioners' northern line; tBence along petitioners' northern property line South 72 East 131 feet, more or less, to a point in the western edge of Stone Avenue; thence along the wester~ edge of Stone Avenue South 24 West 150 feet to a point; thence North 85 West 70 feet, more or less, to the point of Beginning.
