Managhsn, ~e~utiv~ <br /> <br /> 1) Designation of Delegate and Alternates -- <br /> <br /> According to Centraltna's Charter, the terms of all delegates automatically <br /> ~xpire on December 31 of each year. Please let me know before our next <br /> meeting, on 3anuary 16, 1985, who your Board chooses to be your 1985 delegate. <br /> <br /> You may also wish to designate one or more alternate delegates. If you <br /> designate more than one, pleas~ indicate who is first alternate, second <br /> alternate, etc. <br /> <br /> I've attached a list of the 1984 Delegates. There were six (6) Council of <br /> Governments meetings in 1983. The number beside each Delegate's name <br /> indicates the number of those meetings attended by the Delegate or alternate <br /> in 1984. Please name a delegate who is ~oin~ to attend the meetings! <br /> <br /> 2) Executive Co~ittee Membershto <br /> <br /> Dele§aces from County goYer~-ments are automatically members of the Executive <br /> Coc=~ittee. <br /> <br /> All the municipal delegates in each County choose one municipal delegate from <br /> their number to ser~e on the Executive Committee. The municipal members of <br /> the Executive Co~ttae are normally chosen by County Caucuses at the January <br /> Centralina meeting. (In Mecklenburg County, Charlottefs delegate is automa- <br /> tically an Executi-;e Co~ittee member.
