McGinnis:

Attached you will find a Bid Tabulation Form for Sports Lighting
Fixtures opened and publicly read at 10:00 A. M. on Wednesday,
January 12, 1983. ~¢o Bids were received from electrical supply
vendors. Mill Power Supply of Charlotte was the low bidder on.
the base bid and the alternate bid.

When analyziug the bids, I compared them to other jurisdictions
receiving bids recently on similar fixtures. I fould these bids
to be very reasonable. ~erefore, .I recommend that the bid be
awarded to Mill Power Supply Company at a base bid of $58,517.40.
However~ because of insufficient funds, I recommend the alternate
bid for service platforms in the amount of $t4,215.50 be rejected.

If you have any questions concerning this recommendation, please
feel free to call upon me at your convenience.

Sincerely,

William K. Cowan, Director

cc: Board of Commissioners
