NORTII CAROLINA 28025 <br /> <br /> MEMORANDUM <br /> <br /> TO: Charles McGinnis/£ounty Manager <br /> FROM: Thomas B, Robinson/Planniog Director ~l o~'~ <br /> <br /> SUBJECT: Items of Business for March 21, 1983 County Commissioners <br /> Meeting, <br /> <br /> DATE: March 11, 1983 <br /> <br /> The planning staff is in the process of developing a revised <br />Community Development Block Grant for ~he Sidestown-Sbankletowo area <br />of tile' county (The Silverhill area may also be included if funds permit). <br />One of the requirements of the State for submission is that t~vo public <br />hearings be held on the application. The first should be held early in <br />the development stage and the second after the application has been <br />developed. I'm not sure of the procedure but either you or the County <br />Commissioners need to call for these public hearings. ! suggest~ <br />~for the first and A~ 18, .1983 .for the second. If you will <br />let me know if these dates are OK I will go ahead and public notices of <br />these meetings will be made. These notices must be published at least <br />10 days before the first hearing. May 2, 1983 is the deadline for <br />application submission to the North Carolina Department of Natural Resources <br />and Conm~unity Development. <br /> At present the County does not charge a fee for platting of mobile <br />home parks. The Planning ,~oard at its February 9, 1983 meeting voted to <br />recommend to the County Commissioners that a 'Fee be charged for this platting. -- <br />Tile Planning Board recommends that the fee schedule used for subdivision plats <br />be charged for mobile home park plats which i~s, S.40~0 <br />less l°ts and $40,00 plus S1_.00 fQ~r..each l~o~ v, it.h_pl'a~o~er 20 lots in size. <br /> <br /> \ <br /> <br /> <br />
