February 25, 1983 <br /> Page Two <br /> <br /> Of the six consumer positions to be filled, the following characteristics <br /> should be satisfied: <br /> <br /> ' Three should be female; <br /> · One non-white (male or female); <br /> · One should have a family income of less than $10,000 annually; <br /> · We are seeking nominees from all counties, but at least one person <br /> elected to the Governing Body must be from Lincoln County. <br /> <br /> The provider positions include: <br /> <br /> · Physician in private practice; <br /> ' Practicing registered nurse; <br /> ' Hospital administrator; <br /> · Other health professional who shall be an optometrist, podiatrist <br /> or physician assistant; <br /> · Representative of health professional schools selected from <br /> faculty or staff; <br /> · Representative of public health~ allied health and other providers <br /> of health care (the latter position will be filled if one of <br /> the persons elected satisfies more than one of the preceding <br /> categories)· <br /> <br />Any one nominee may meet more than one characteristic. All nominations, <br />regardless of age, race, sex, income, etc., are emcouraged. <br /> <br />We are enclosing for your convenience nominating forms which must be used <br />in submitting nominations. Additional forms are available upon request. <br />All completed nomination forms must be received in the agency office no <br />later than April 18, 1983· The nominating forms should be sent to the <br />attention of the Administrative Committee at the above address. <br /> <br />If you have any questions, please let me know.
