Prepared <br /> an evaluation of bids. <br /> <br />- Completed hazard survey for Cabarrus County. <br /> <br />- Worked with Harrisburg on their new computerized water billing program. <br /> <br />- Continued work on Concord Board of Light and Water study. <br /> <br /> Human Services Activities <br /> <br />- Held a regional Business and Industry/Employment and Training Advisory Committee <br /> meeting to consider new programs to be funded with increase CETA funds, and <br /> allocated fends for the Summer Youth Employment program. <br /> <br />- Provided information on N.C. Legislation affecting older adults to all service <br /> providers and aging committees. <br /> <br />- Training for aging program personnel provided in Charlotte on February 23-24 <br /> "Public Benefits Update". This training covered social security, medicare~ <br /> medicaid and food stamps. <br /> <br />- On Febuary 3, Region F Aging Advisory met to allocate FY'84 funds among counties. <br /> <br />- Released RFP packets on February 4 for ~f'84 Titie III-B and Title IiI-C funds. <br /> /hey were returned on February 28. <br /> <br />- Released Food Service Bid Specifications package on February 4 for regional <br /> bid for 5 con, ties (Cabarrus, Gaston, Irede!!, Rowan and Stanly). Bids opened <br /> on February 28. <br /> <br /> <br />
