The award ceremony will be held in conjunction with F2.JS Week held April 25 through April 30. The ~[T of the Year Award will honor the outstanding volunteer and the outstanding professional Emergency Medical Technicians from each of the eight counties of Region F. These winners were selected because of their total commitment to their community, the EMS service and to their own personal development as ~Ff's. We will bm having a special celebration in honor of these ~MT's on April 26, 1983 at the Holiday Inn, Woodlawn Road at 1-77, Charlotte. The presentation of the awards will take place on the 26th at 8:30 p.m. and the names of the winners will become public. We feel that the men and .women involved in F~S provide a substantial service to the community. We are, therefore, encouraging your County Commission ~o adopt a resolution proclaiming the last week of April as --~!S Week and to recognize the outstanding E~, when he becomes kno.~a. Attached is an invitation to the banquet. Should you decide to attend the dinner we will need advanced notice. I hope to see you or a representative a~ the ceremony April 26.
