(2 Hours) Code Review - To determine what items of work will be required to bring the existing building into compliance with current codes, i.e., stairs, elevators, handicap access, toilets, Compliance with energy code, etc. (1 Hour) Space Utilization Study - To include area and functional design studies and sketches to determine the sdaptability of the existing building to each department's functional and circulation requirements, and space requirements for stairs, elevators, toilets, mechanical and electrical services. (4 Hours) Anslysis of Building Systems and blaterials - Recommendations of appropriate building mechanical sad electrical systems. Recommendations of floor, walls, ceiling and roof materials systems to be used in restoration of new facility. Determinstioa of insurance rate schedale reductions and payback period for installing a sprinkler system. (2 Hours) Site Survey - Review of existing site conditions to determine scope of site work required to provide parking, adequate site drainsge, grading and/or retaining wall requirements. (1 Hour) ~roject Cost Projections - To include a tabulation of projected project cost for coastru.ction, professional fees, and contengency. (2 Hoers) Written Report - Submission of a written report to summarize the results of our investigation and proposed recommendations. (8 Hours) Presentation of Report - Presentation of the written report before the County Commissioners and blanager for their review and comments. (2 ltours)
