Pilkington~r~ <br />SUBJECT: Transportation Report <br /> <br />Attached is a summary of transportation services provided during <br />the first two quarters of FY1983 (October, 1982 - March, 1983). <br />The average cost per client for these six months was $2.28 and <br />the average cost per one-wa~ trip was $1.26. <br /> <br />In March, this program provided 63 one-way trips for clients less <br />than 60 years old. The majori~ of these trips were to public <br />service agencies and to physicians. <br /> <br />For the over 60 year old population, the program provided 165 <br />one-way trips for destinations other than nutrition centers. <br />The majority of these trips were for medical appointments. <br /> <br />We are currently providing transportation for six clients re- <br />quiring the wheelchair van. <br /> <br />I plan to present this information to the Board on April 25. <br /> <br /> <br />
