The City would sell water to the County at a rate which is
the same as the best rate available for customers inside the Corpo-
rate Limits of the City of Concord.

2. Water would be delivered to selected points, mutually agree-
able to both parties, and would be metered through a master meter
connection at those points~ the meters to be furnished and installed
by the County. The metera and connections would bare to be compar-
able with the City system.

3. City would provide water at a sufficient pressure and would
guarantee a minimum supply of water, as hereinafter agreed, to the
County, subject to the obligation of the City to provide water to
its other customers, both within and without the City.

4. In the event additional water supplies become necessary, the
County would discuss and negotiate with the City concer~ing the pro-
viding of these water supplies jointly before the County would decide
to provide supplies individually.

5. The Connty would operate amd maintain all facilities in its
water system om its side of the master meters and would do all billing
of its retail customers. It is contemplated that water would be
delivered to the County customers at a cost in excess of Concord's
outside retail rate.
