As a major attraction to the <br /> festivities, our staff would like to contract a fireworks program be- <br /> ginning at dark and lasting about20-25 minutes. Attached is a proposed <br /> contractual agreement with Southern International. Fireworks~ Inc. of <br /> Rock Hill, South Carolina. This is the same company that provided the <br /> display for last year's Park Grand Opening. Mr. Ga~ A. Partlow is tile <br /> ~rotechnic expert who will be in charge of the fireworks display. <br /> <br />In order f6r us to stage this fireworks program, we will need per- <br />mission from the Board of Commissioner~ in the form of a Fireworks <br />Discharge Permit.
