Most of this travel comes from the three (3) <br /> sanitarians who drive approximately 1,600 miles a month doing <br /> septic tank evaluations. We have checked their mileage and it <br /> is not inflated. Mileage and reimbursement for the sanitarians <br /> who do septic tank evaluations during the period 1980-82 is <br /> attached. Although the mileage has come down during the last <br /> three years, early figures for 1983 indicate that ~.~ is on <br /> the way up again. <br /> <br /> I would like to suggest that the next time you have three (3) <br /> surplus cars that they be assigned to these three (3) sanitarians <br /> for a one-year trial to see if we can significantly reduce travel <br /> expenses.
