Section 5. Vacation Leave - Manner of Accumulation. <br /> <br />Anniversary date of employment shall be used for determining aarned <br />vacation. All employees shall earn vacation leave at the following <br />rate: <br /> <br /> (a) Each employee with fewer than one year service shall earn <br /> vacation leave at the rate of five-twelfths (5/12) days . <br /> per completed month, but no more than five (5) days per <br /> completed year of service. ~ <br /> <br /> (b) Each employee with one year but less than five shall earn <br /> vacation leave at a rate of five-sixths (5/6) days per <br /> completed month, but no more than ten (10) days per completed <br /> year of service. <br /> <br /> (c) Each employee with five (5) or more years service shall earn <br /> vacation leave at the rate of one and one-fourth (1¼) days <br /> per completed month, but no mor~ than flfteen (15) days per <br /> completed year of service. <br /> <br />RECOMMENDED CHANGES: <br /> <br />Section 5. ~acation Leave - Manner of Accumulation. <br /> <br />Anniversary date of employment shall be used for determining earned <br />vacation. All employees shall earn vacation leave at the following <br />rate: <br /> <br /> (a) Each employee with fewe~ than one year service shall earn <br /> vacation leave at the rate of 3 hours and 20 minutes pe~ <br /> completed month, but no more than 40 hours per completed <br /> year (2080 hours) of service. <br /> <br /> Each emergency medical service personnel with fewer than one <br /> (1) year service shall earn vacation leave at the rate of five <br /> (5) hours per completed month but no more than 60 hours per <br /> completed year (3120 hours) of service. <br /> <br /> (b) Each employee with one year but less than five shall earn <br /> vacation leave at a rate of 6 hours and 40 minutes per completed <br /> month, but no more than 80 hours per completed year (2080 hours) <br /> of service. <br /> <br /> Each emergency medical service personnel with one year but less <br /> than five shall earn vacation leave at a rate of 10 hours per <br /> completed month, but no more than 126 hours per completed year <br /> (3120 hours) of service. <br /> <br /> <br />
