FRANCES I~,, LONG <br /> DIRECTOR <br /> November 1, 1983 <br /> <br />PROPOSED NOTION BY CABARRUS COUNTY BOARD OF SOCIAL SERVICES: <br /> <br />Whereas Mrs. Frances B. Long has served as Director of the Cabarrus <br />County Department of Social Services since March 1, 1964 and the <br />mandated retirement date is December 31, 1983, and whereas tile Board <br />of Social Services will need additional time to select a replacement, <br />it is requesting an extension be granted for Nrs. Long to remain as <br />Director until the Board finds a replacement to assume the position <br />is completed, Therefore, it be resolved that Mrs. Long serve as <br />Director of Cabarrus County Department of Social Services until a <br />replacement assumes office or on March 31, 1984, whichever shall first <br />occur.
