and lot numbers, name of person responsible for payment of water <br /> billing, if different than that on the petition, and type of service <br /> required, Each petitioner shall agree to be responsible for at least <br /> the minimum monthly charge from the time the water becomes available <br /> in the line. <br /> Processing of Petition <br /> <br /> Upon receipt of a sufficient number of petitions, studies will <br /> <br />be made to determine the feasibility of installing a water main, and <br />if impractical, the petitions will be kept on file for later <br />consideration. If the project is feasible and approved by the County <br />Commissioners, a 60 day sign-up period will be specified during which <br />time the property owners adjacent to the line may apply for a meter <br />at a reduced charge. The applicant also agrees to pay at least the ~ <br />minimum monthly charge for a period of four years after becoming a <br /> ? <br /> <br />County water customer. <br /> <br />Subdivision Extensions <br /> <br /> A developer desiring to connect a new subdivision will be <br /> <br />required to ln'st~ll the water mains, service lines, meter mounts, <br />meter boxes, hydrants, valves, and appurtenances at his own expense. <br />Lines must be installed to County standards and deeded to the County <br />upon completion. Plans will be submitted to the County for approval, <br />and if it is determined that a line larger than 6" in diameter is <br />required, the County will bear the difference in the cost of the <br />lines. Meters (3/4") will be installed as requested for $50.00. <br />Larger meters will be set at the rates shown in the fee schedule <br />labeled "Costs of Service Lines & Meters".
