Billing <br /> <br /> Meters will be read at such time that bills will be received by <br />the customer on or about the 25th of every other month. The net <br />amount will be due at the County Water Department by the loth of the <br />following month. After that date, the customer will be notified that <br />the account is delinquent. If the bill is not paid in full by the <br />25th, water services will be discontinued and an additional $10.00 <br /> <br />service charge will be required to have it restored. <br /> C. Responsibility for Water Bills <br /> <br /> The person receiving water shall be responsible for the payment <br />of the water bill. If a water bill becomes delinquent and is not <br />paid in accordance with the provisions of these regulations, water <br />service is to be discontinued and may not be resumed except in <br />accordance with the provisions of these regulations. Should <br />property, for which there is a delinquent water bill, be sold, the <br />delinquent bill will be paid from the customers deposit. The new <br />owner will be eligible to receive water from the Cabarrus County <br /> <br /> -13- <br /> <br /> <br />
