Please let me know before our next <br />' meetin~~, on January 11, 1984, who_your Bdard chooses to be your 1984 dele- ' <br /> gate. <br /> <br /> You may also wish to des!gnate one or more alternate-delegates. If you <br /> designate more than one, please indicate who is first alternate, second <br /> alternate, 'etc. <br /> <br /> I've attached a list of the 1983 Delegates. There were six (6) Council of <br /> Governments -m~etings' in 1983. The number beside each Delegate's name <br /> indidates the number of those, meetings ~ttended by the Delegate-or alternate <br /> in 1983.-. Please ~ame a d~legate who is going to attend the meetings! <br /> <br /> 2) Executive Committee Membership <br /> Delegates from County governments are automatically members of the Executive <br /> _Committee. <br /> <br /> Ali the municipal delegates in each County 'choose one municipal delegate <br /> from their number to serve on the Executive Committee. The municipal members <br /> of the Executive Committee are normally chosen by County Caucuses at the <br /> Janua[-y Centralina line'ting (In Mecklenburg County, CharlOtte's delegate <br /> is automatically an Executives Committee member.
