Chapman, <br />has approached the Cabarrus County Commissioners about the possibility <br />of the county providing gratuitous help to assist with loan making <br />and loan servicing activities of Farmers Home Administration. <br /> <br />We also understand that other citizens of Cabarrus County have approached <br />you on this matter, <br /> <br />We are informed that before the County Commissioners will consider approval <br />for providing this assistance additional information is needed from this <br />office concerning FmHA activities in Cabarrus County. During the past <br />fiscal year (10-1-80 thru 9-30-81), the following loans were obligated: <br /> <br /> Farmer Programs 49 $1,206,430.00 <br /> Rural Housing Programs 52 t,449,540.00 <br /> Commuaity Service Programs _~3 603,200.00 <br /> <br /> Totals 104 $3,259~170.00 <br /> <br />Since 10-1-81 to present, 25 rural housing loans have been processed. <br />At this same level of activity, it will be possible to process approximately <br />100 rural housing loans, provided necessary resources are available. <br /> <br />We appreciate your interest and conceu~ for the ~%~t~ program in Cabarrus <br />County.
