NORTh CAROLINA CONTRACT FOR MECKLENBURG COUNTY EMERGENCY SERVICES EQUIPb~NT THIS AGREE~oNT, made and entered into this . y of , 1982, by and between Cab~'~,3s-C~,,ut~ ., hereinafter referred to as the ~_Countv , and the CENTRALINA COUNCIL OF GOVERNMENTS, hereinafter referred to as the Council; WITMES SETH: WHEREAS, Cahmrr~m Co~%~y desires to improve their emergency medical services program, and has submittad to the Council a proposal for such improvements; and WHEREAS, said proposal was included in the State EmarBency Medical Scl-vices Grant application prepared by the Council for submittal to the M. C. Department of Human Resources; and WHEP, F~%S, the Cotmcil's application, including the County's _proposal, has been approved and subsequently funded; NOW I~EREFORE, in Consideration of the premises and payment of the funds as hereinafter sat forth~ both the ~oualty and the Council do mutually agree to the following: A. GENERAL UNDERSTANDINGS 1. The Council agrees to provide or to cause to be provided those certain items of ~dical aR~ training eouiDmeRt set forth in Exhibit A, attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference. 2. The Council agrees to pay'50% of the total purchase price of those cer- tain items set forth in Exhibit A, provided that under eo circumstances shall the amount paid by the Council exceed $l:454 . · 3. The__co,,nty agrses to provide toward the total purchase price an amount equal to at least 50% of the total purchase price of items set forth in Exhibit A. 4. Payment of funds by the Council as specified in this agreement is depen- dent upon and subject to the Council's receipt of funds allocated and appropriated for this purpose from the N. C. Department of Human Resources. 5. The__iq~o,~nty _ agrees to name as their official project director for all matters pertaining.to this agreement.
