TIrE BOARD OF CO~.fISSIONERS <br /> FOR <br /> THE COUI.ITY OF CABARRUS, NORTH CAROLI~_.IA <br /> <br /> The Board of Commissioners for the County of Cabarrus, <br />?!orth Carolina, met in regular session at the Courthouse in <br />Concord, l]orth Carolina, the regular place of meeting, at <br />o'clock, April 19, ]982. <br /> <br /> Present: Chairman , presiding, and <br />Commissioners <br /> <br /> Absent: <br /> Also present: <br /> Commissioner introduced the <br />following resolution which was read: <br /> <br /> RESOLUTIOn] APPROVING THE ISSUA~CE OF BO~DS FOR <br /> PHILIP MORRIS I~DUSTRIAL PROJECT <br /> <br /> IflIEREAS: The Cabarrus County Industrial Facilities and <br />Pollution Control Financing Authority (the Authority) has agreed <br />to assist in the financing under the ~orth Carolina Industrial <br />and Pollution Control Facilities Financing Act (the Act) of an <br />industrial prcject by Philip Morris Incorporated, a Virginia <br />corporation, in connection with its new cigarette manufacturing <br />facility near Concord in Cabarrus County and indicated that <br />agreement by the completion of an Inducement Agreement between <br />the parties dated as of March 28, 1978; <br /> <br /> WItEREAS: The Authority intends to issue its Industrial <br />Revenue Bond (Philip Morris Incorporated Project) (the Bond) in <br />the principal amount of 81,000,000; and <br /> <br /> <br />
