FIRE W~D We have assisted approximately 40 landot~ers to get fire wood for heating this quarter. About 220 cords were sold, which brought a~ut $2,200 from the sale, ~is wood was cut fr~ areas that had been logged. Training was conducted with Northeast Volunteer Fire ~partment on grass, brush, and woods fires. We put up ne,~; Fire prevention posters throughout the county, l'Je put forestry displays ia the courthouse and County Buildlug. We visited Alle:~, Harris- burg, and Ayeock ~hools. We presented the first, second, and third ~:~rades with ~okey the ~ar badges, colorin~ sheets, and ~]okey comic books.
