3.Unless otherwise posted, no person shall operate a motor v~hicle' tn <br /> excess of 20 miles per hour within the Park, <br /> <br />4. No person shall operate a motorized trail bike or any other vehicle <br /> designe~ primarily for off road use within the confines of the Park. <br /> <br />5.l{o person shall operate motorized boats on any lake or stream in the <br /> Park, except for authorized park personnel or its agents. <br /> <br />6. No person shall iaunch a boat from a trailer, car, truck or any other <br /> 'conveyance except at a launch area designated by park management. <br /> <br /> 7.Boating shall not be permitted unless each patron is wearing a <br /> U.S. Coast Guard Approved Personal Flotation Device. <br /> <br />8. No person~sba-l-l~-~h-w~-tq~H~m ~ar-k-w~-thout a North Carolina fishing <br /> License, 'All patrons must abide by state regulations on seasons, <br /> hours a~d fishing/baiting methods except as otherwise designated in <br /> park regulations. <br /> <br />9. All lar§emouth bass - smaller than 14" - caught by park patrons must <br /> be released unharmed back into the park lake. <br /> <br />10. All largemouth bass, as provided for in Article 9, in excess of three <br /> per visitor day must be released u~harmed back into the park lake. <br /> <br />11.No person shall discharge or use fireworks of any kind or nature in <br /> the Park, except for authorized park a~ents. <br /> <br />t2. No person shall willfully trap, molest, capture, harm, or chase any <br /> wildlife in the Park except as undertaken by authorized park personnel <br /> or its agents as bona fide wildlife management practice. <br /> <br />13. No person shall damage or alter any wildlife habitat or area within <br /> the park except as undertaken by authorized park personnel or its <br /> agents as bona fide wildlife management practice. <br /> <br />14. No person shall dispose of lighted or unlighted matches, cigars, <br /> cigarettes, or any other'flammable material or substance in other <br /> than trash receptacles or ash cans. <br /> <br />15. Patrons using trails shall not take shortcuts between trails and <br /> switchbacks. <br /> <br />16. No person shall smoke on walking trails. <br /> <br />17. No dogs, cats or other pets are allowed in the Park except when such <br /> animal is part of a park program. This provision does not apply to <br /> Seeing Eye and similar dogs. <br /> <br />18. No person shall build a fire anywhere within the Park other than in <br /> grills or fireplaces within extablished picnic and camping areas. <br /> <br /> 19.No person shall leave a fire unattended for any length of time unless <br /> it is completely extinguished, <br /> <br /> 20.No person shall camp, park a cat', trailer, or camper for the purpose <br /> of camping in areas other than ,those designated by park management. <br /> <br /> 21.No person shall swim or wade in the park lake except when permitted <br /> as special progra~t or by posted regulation. <br /> <br />22. No person shall throw rocks or objects of any kind, This does no~ <br /> include ~alls or games used in athletic ev6nts, when used in a <br /> reasonable manner and in such a way that it does not become a hazard <br /> to other park patrons. <br /> <br /> 23,No person shall dump, dispose of, or otherwise release any substance <br /> that pollutes or degrades the parks lake and streams. <br /> <br /> <br />
