- 2 - <br /> <br />C. COUNTY EblPLOYEES SERVING ON BOARDS, ETC. <br /> <br /> 1. It is understood that County employees wii1 not be appointed to boards, <br /> commissions, etc., which rnceive County funding assistance <br /> <br />D. RATE OF PAY <br /> <br /> 1o The fane of pay, if any, to members for service on boards, commissions <br /> or committees shall be established by the Board of Commissioners. <br /> Records for pay purposes shall be certified by Chairmen of the <br /> respective boards, commissions or committees and submitted by the <br /> appropriate department head to the Finance Officer for monthly <br /> disbursement. <br /> <br />E. IbIPLEMENTATION <br /> <br /> 1. This policy shall become effective upon enactment. All subseqL~ent <br /> appointments to boards by the Board of Commissioners shall be carried <br /> out under the provisions of this policy. <br /> <br /> 2. Any individual affected by the dual role ~rovislon of this role shall <br /> be given the option of determining ~ich appointment to retain and <br /> any other appointments held by that individual to boards, commissions <br /> or committees shall be deemed null and void unless waived by the Board <br /> of Commissioners under the special circumstance clause of this policy. <br /> <br /> 3. Positions on boards, con~issions and co~nittees filled by individuals <br /> who have served for a period exceeding six consecutive years at the <br /> time this policy becomes effective shall be declared vacant unless <br /> waived by the Board of Commissioners as provided under the special <br /> circumstance clause of this policy. <br /> <br />Attachments (1) <br /> <br /> <br />
