· .. June 28, 1982

MEMO
TO: Charles McGinnis
,.~ ...... FROM: Fred Pilkington
SUBJECT: Septic Tank Improvements and Repair Permit Fees

Effective July 1, 1982, the Health Department will
no longer be able to collect fees for septic tank
~.~, ~,.~.,. improvements or repairs. Our present fees are
$25.00 for an improvements permit and $5.00 for a
repair permit. The current procedure is for the
applicant to pick up the permit at the Health Department
' ...... ~' ~' ....... after approval has been issued. The permit (blue copy)
is then taken to the building inspector who collects
a building permit fee and issues a building permit.

I am proposing that we continue the current procedure
for applying for septic tank improvements permits.
The only difference would be that the applicant would
pay the building inspector .an additional $30.00 fee
as part of the building permit. The additional fee
is $30.00 not $25.00 to cover any repair permits which
,~ ~' ~.,,, may be issued.
