C. 28025 <br /> <br /> Dear Mr. Bonds: <br /> <br /> I am enclosing revised program for 1982-83 Cabarrus County Secondary <br /> Road Construction and Secondary Bond Construction and you will note <br /> the balance shown in the 1981-82 Bond Funds was incorrect the first <br /> time we appeared before your Board and instead of $89,659,00, the <br /> balance actually was $23,707.06~ <br /> <br /> We have made a survey of our unpaved secondary roads and in our. <br /> opinion the spot stabilization program, in the amount of $49,903.00 <br /> previously submitted is not needed.since we feel that we can take care <br /> of any stabilization problems in our nopmal routine maintenance; how- <br /> ever, should you or any of the other Board members know of any <br /> particular situation where this program is urgently needed, we would <br /> appreciate your comment. <br /> <br /> In t~e overspent our pavement tvidening project, <br /> view <br /> of <br /> the <br /> fact <br /> that <br /> /in the amount of $43,675.00, it would be~greatly appreciated if the <br /> ~previously proposed $49~903;00 for spot otabilization be transferred <br /> %to this widening project. <br /> <br /> If you concur with our thinking, in.this matter, we would appreciate <br /> the opportunity to appear before your Board as soon as possible to <br /> resubmit our program. <br /> <br /> Thank you for your cooperation. <br /> <br /> Sincerely yours <br /> <br /> T.
