Pilkington <br /> SUBJECT: Pan Replacement At Sanitary Landfill <br /> <br /> The pan now in use at the landfill is nine (9) years old <br /> and needs almost $13,000 in repairs (see attached list). <br /> At present, the machine is unreliable and frequently down. <br /> Because of the economic slump several good used pans are <br /> available at prices ranging from $40,000-$90,000. Most of <br /> <br /> snitable as replacements. <br /> <br /> For these reasons I request that the Commissioners authorize <br /> <br /> than 2,000 operating hours and no older than a 1978 model, <br /> <br /> Attachment <br /> <br /> <br />
