McGinnis/County Manager <br /> <br />FROM: Jim Owens/Interim Planning Directol~ <br />SUBJECT: Selection of Consultant Firm Carter-Goble & Associates <br /> for KANLACON Transit Feasibility Study <br /> <br />DATE: October 14, 1982 <br /> <br /> Carter-Goble and Associated of Columbia, South Carolina, has <br />been selected for the KANLACON Transit Feasibility Study by Mr. <br />Glenn Bates,Transportation Planner for Cabarrus County; Mr. Leonard <br />Sossamon, Director of Planning, City of Concord; Mr. Danny Johnso~ <br />Planner for the Salisbury/Rowan County Planning Department; and myself <br />Mr. Jim Owens,Interim Director. <br /> <br /> This Transit Feasibility Study has been granted eighteen thousand <br />(.$18,000.00) dollars by the Federal Urban Mass Transit Administration <br />(UMTA). The eighteen thousand ($18,000.00) dollars has been budgeted <br />for the 1982-83 fiscal year, and no local money will be needed to <br />carry out this study. <br /> <br /> Carter-Goble and Associates will-be doing this Transit Feasibility <br />Study for eighteen thousand ($18,000.00) dollars. <br /> <br /> <br />
