JUDGING WILL BE DONE AS FOLLOWS: <br /> - a panel of judges will select one county winner from the nominations submitted. <br /> The panel will consist of three individuals, two of whom are not involved with <br /> ~.~S and one who hms a non administrative function %~t5in the ~lS system. <br /> <br />~EN A~ ~s~ERE ~.~LL THE AWARDS BE GIVEN? <br />The eight winners will Be notified in March, 1983 of their selection which will <br />be presented during ~S Week which is'held during the last week of April, in <br />Charlotte. The location, day and time will he annouaced. <br /> <br />The winners will receive a letter of Recognition signed by the Chairman of <br />the County Comm~ission and a plaque honoring their achievements in ~!S from the <br />Region F ~ergency Medical Services Advisory Council. <br /> <br />IN ADDITION: <br />The names of the eight winners will be forwarded for consideration for the "~ <br />Who Care" a,~rds, co-sponsored by WSOC-TV and the Voluntary Action Center of <br />Union/Mec'.~len~urg Counties. Th_is is an areawide award recognizing the volunteers <br />who participate zn community services work. <br /> <br />The "~-Who Care" awards are presenged in Charlotte in September. The winners <br />and the runner-ups and their f~milias are invited to a luncheon, where the "9=Who <br /> <br />ALSO: <br />The names of the eight winners will be forward ed to the North Carolina Office <br />of Citizens Affairs for consideration for the Governor's Volunteer Award. <br />Each year Governor Runt presents the Governor's Volunteer Award to outstanding <br />volunteers from each county in recognition of their service in North Carolina. <br />The awards are presented hy the Governor at a Recognition Ceremony in Septembem. <br /> <br /> <br />
