RESOLUTION <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, by Chapter 307 of the 1935 Session Laws of North <br />Carolina, the Cabarrus Memorial Hospital was created and the Cabarrus <br />County Treasurer was authorized and directed to execute drafts and checks <br />on the Hospital Maintenance Fund; and whereas, the office of Cabarrus <br />County Treasurer was abolished by Chapter 1868 of the 1961 Session <br />Laws of North Carolina and the County Commissioners were authorized <br />to designate persons to perform the duties previously performed by the <br />County Treasurer; and whereas, hy resolution of December 3, 1962, the <br />County Auditor was authorized to perform these dulies; and whereas, it is <br />the desire of the Board of Commissioners of Cabarrus County to provide <br />that the Comptroller of the Cabarrus Memorial Hospital be aulhorized to <br />perform the duties conferred on the County Treasurer by Chapter 307 of <br />the 1935 Session Laws; <br /> <br /> IT IS, THEREFORE, RESOLVED: <br /> <br /> 1. That the Comptroller of Cabarrus Memorial Hospital is autho- <br />rized and directed to perform the duties conferred on the County Treasurer <br />by Chapfiet~ 307 of the 1935 Session Laws including the signing of all checks <br />and drafts on the Hospital INIaintenance Fund. <br /> <br /> 2, That the Comptroller of Cabarrus Memorial Hospital furnish <br />monthly to the Cabarrus County Adminis trative Office registers of the <br />Maintenance Fund. <br /> <br /> <br />
