Upon motion of Commissioner McClarv <br />seconded hv Commissioner Hinsot~ , the followin~ <br />o~-dinance was adopted: <br /> <br /> "Section 1. <br /> <br /> It shall be unlaw£ul I'oe the owner, keeper or harborc, of <br />dog to permit such dog to run at large on any public road. street, or high" <br />xvav o,- upon the lands of any other person without the cor~ent of that person. <br />Ail dogs wiZl,be kept in a clean pen. <br /> Section 2. <br /> <br /> It shall be lawful for the Dog Warden or any of his agents or fc <br />any law enforcement officer to .take up any dog running at large in violation <br />of this ordinance and impound the same with the Dog V~rarden. The Do8 <br />Warden shall abide by G, S. 67-32 and the holding period ~hall be 3 dey~. <br /> <br /> Seclion 3. <br /> <br /> Any person violating the provisions of this ordinance shall be <br />guilty of a misdemeanor and fined not more than Fifty Dollars ($50.00) or <br />imprisoned for ~ period of not more than thirty (~0) days. <br /> <br /> Section 4. <br /> <br /> This nrdinance shall apply to all areas of Cabarrus County <br />whie}~ lic o~dside of the corporate limits of any municipality. <br /> <br /> Section 5. <br /> <br /> This ordinance shall be in full force and effect on and after <br />,: - 1 da~-of March , 1976." <br /> <br /> <br />
