Box 707 <br /> Concord, North Carolina 28025 <br /> <br /> Dear Mr. Cook: <br /> <br /> You are advised that the Cabarrus County's eligibility in the National <br /> Flood insurance Program (NFIP) may be suspended on May 5, 1981 unless <br /> the required flood plain management measures of Section 44 CFR 60.3 (d) <br /> are enacted by your community. <br /> <br />Our letter of November 5, [980 indicated the acEions your community <br />could take to maintain its eligibility in the NFIP. That letter also <br />advised you that the flood insurance rate study establishing base flood <br />elevations has been completed and that your community's Flood Insurance <br />Rate Map would become effective on May 5, 1981. <br /> <br />We hope that your communlEy has initiated its adoption process to meet <br />the above requirements. If you are encountering difficulties in <br />enacting the required measures, we urge you to call the Regional <br />Director, Insurance and Mitigation Division of tbe Federal Emergency <br />Management Agency in Atlanta, Georgia at (404) 881-2391. <br /> <br />Please consider this letter as your formal notice.
