Chandler, Jr./Director of Planning ~' <br />lIEF: Qualification of Flood Damage Prevention Ordinance <br />DATE: March 6, 1981 <br /> <br /> I would like to request that the proposed Flood Damage Prevention <br />Ordinance be placed on the agenda for the Board of County Con~issioners' <br />meeting scheduled for March 16, 1981. <br /> <br /> The draft of the proposed ordinance has been reviewed by the Federal <br />Emergency Management Agency, Insurance and Mitigation Division; and <br />has met requirements for participation in the regular phase of the <br />National'Flood Insurance Program. A letter to thio° effect should <br />arrive within the week. <br /> <br />The deadline for submitting an adopted Flood Damage Prevention <br />Ordinance to the Federal Emergency Management Agency is May 5, 1981. <br /> <br />pcc <br /> <br /> <br />
