Hunt Jr signed a p~qc~tip~ ~ec!~ing th~I .. <br /> Week'~f April 26 through }lay 2, 1981 to be North Carolina Emergency Medi6al Se~ides <br /> <br /> The Governor's proclamation establishes a week of recognition of all the individuals <br /> involved with the life saving medical care of their fellow citizens in North Carolina. <br /> <br /> The Emergency Medical Services system in your county is a par~ of the North Carolina <br /> EMS system. The dedication of the F~'s operating the ambulance and rescue services, <br /> whether they are volunteer or professionals, is clearly indicated by their continu- <br /> ing pursuit of advanced emergency medical training, their improved communications <br /> network and modern emergency equipment, and their willingness ~o promote good will <br /> within the community, particularly with their support of public CPR training. <br /> <br /> i am respectfully requesting the Board of Commissioners to endorse the Governor's <br /> proclamation and the declare a county EMS Week ~o coincide with the State ~IS Week, <br /> April 26 no May 2, 1981. <br /> <br /> I would also appreciate a copy of the proclamation to be sent to my office. <br /> <br /> Thank you for your cooperation. <br /> <br /> SB/do <br /> <br /> <br />
