CABARRUS COUNTY - Continued <br /> <br /> Human Services Activities <br /> <br />A§in~ <br />Staff completed the Ti±le V Senior Employment program which will start 'n <br />July, and wi provide par~ time employment for nine elderly persons through <br />a contract with L.I.F.E. Center. Staff also conducted a public hearing on <br />Title Itl service priorities on April 28th. Centralina will accept proposals <br />for hot meal programs and service programs during May~ for fhe year beginning <br />October I, 1981. <br /> <br />Manpower <br />Staff reviewed and accepted proposals for this year~s CETA Summer Youth Program <br />for fhe county. Cabarrus County Manpower Department will contract to provide <br />summer jobs for some 183 youths. <br /> <br />Title XX <br />Staff Is preparing a community profile of low income families in conjunction <br />with DSS.
