BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNTY COI%¢MISSIONEI~S OF <br /> CABARRUS COUNTY: <br /> <br /> That under the authority of Section 153A-153 ®f file General <br /> Statutes of North Carolina, there is hereby levied an anmlal license <br /> tax on the privilege of keeping degs in Cabarrus Ceunty in the amount <br /> of ]~'ive Dollars ($5. {98). <br /> <br /> Application for licenses shall be made during the m8n[h of <br /> January of each year to lhe Tax Supervisor's Office. It' a dgg is <br /> acquired after January 31 the application shall be made te the Tax <br /> Superviqor's Office within thirty (38) days 'after the dog is acquired. <br /> <br /> if a person or kennel awns more lhan five (5) dogs, the total <br /> annual license tax shall be Twenty-five Dellars ($25.80). <br /> <br /> The license fee shall be billed on the annnal tax bill and shall <br />be payable at the time for paying taxes to the Trax Collector, except that <br />a person applying for a license after January 31 shall pay lhe fee at the <br />time of application. <br /> <br />Licenses shall be issued for one (1) year beginning July 1. <br />If the license tag is lost a duplicate may be obtained for Two <br />Dollars ($2.00). If the ownership is changed the license may be trans- <br />ferred for Two Dollars ($2.00). <br /> <br />When the owner complies w~th the foregoing provisions of this <br />ordinance, he shall be issued a numbered metallic tag, stamped with the <br /> <br /> <br />
