Chandler, Jr./Director of Planning< { <br />SUBJECT: Minimum Housing Code <br />DATE: December 15, 1981 <br /> <br />As per the October 20, 1981 directive from the Board of County <br />Commissioners requesting the Planning Department to draft minimum <br />housing standards for their review within 60 days, I am submitting <br />the proposed Minimum Housing Standards for Cabarrus County. <br /> <br />These standards were patterned closely after the North Carolina biodei <br />Housing Code by the League of Municipalities. Some portions were <br />altered ~o more closely reflect situations peculiar to Cabarrus <br />County. The portions involving enforcement, appeals and Zoning Board <br />of Adjustment make-up and terms remain as the League suggested.
