Each course will consist of a Monday through Frid~y program. The clients will be picked up at 8:00 a.m. on Monday and returned by 5:00 p.mo on ~--,~ This orogram will be 24 hours a d~y. The center will provide ~11 the necessamY equipment~ tr~sportation~ food ~d insur~ce, k typical course would be as follows; Monday ........ Pick-up a 0~b~rrus County Park Recreation Office 8:00 a.m. Spend the day going t~ough ~he group initiative course~ meal pl~ing~ equipment p~cking ~d tr~vel to ove~ig~t site. ~esday ....... Start on ~ 20 mile b~okpackin~ trip. Here the clients will lea~ basic o~mping skills~ food prep- 8,~tion, hiking skills~ b~sic first ~id~ etc. Wednesday ..... Finish up on the backpacking in She afte~oon, p~pame for raft- ~rip. Spent most 'of the dmy Thursday ...... .r~fting do~-~ ~t least m Class III river. The late ~fternoon ~vening will b~ spent leamning the basic skills of mo~taineering. ~iday ........ ~he entire d~y will be spent climbin~ ~d mappeling.
