Box 707 <br />Concord, N.C. 28025 <br /> <br />Dear Charles: <br /> <br />The Cabarrus County Board of Health in official session on December 20, 1979 <br />unanimously approved a grant application in the amount of 9~9~349.00 £o[. · <br />Perinatal Project for Cabarrus County. This project will be an extension <br />~f our existing maternity clinic program. Expectant mothers with special <br />health problems, which may adversely affect the health of her baby, will <br />receive special care and tests to assure that the health of the baby and the <br />mother is protected. This program is mn extension of a state-wide effort <br />to improve the health of ~thers and infants. <br /> <br />The funds for this pro3ect were made available through an appropriation <br />from the General Assembly and does not require local matchinq monies for <br />the health department budget.
