I certainly appreciate your
support for our Sugarless Day efforts.

Our Plans for Sugarless Day (February 7) are aimed at teaching the
citizens of Cabarrus County the effects of sugar in their diets.
The school food service managers of the Cabarrus County, Concord City
and Kannapolis City Schools are planning sugar-free menus for this
day. The principals that I have talked to have agreed to have all the
chocolate milk and other sugar drinks and snacks in the schools removed
for that one day in support of our efforts. We are receiving encouraging
remarks from teachers and parents alike.

Dr~ Safrit and I are encouraged by your willi'ngness to help the
citizens of Cabarrus County toward better health. We hope you'll find
time to come by the Dental Trailer, now stationed at Aycock School.
'If you have any questions, please cell us at 932-9813,

Thank you again for your support.

Sincerely,

Debbie J.
