April 28, 1980

Cabarrus County Planning ~oard
P. O. Box 707
Concord, NC 28025

Attention: Mr. Troy Cook, chairman
County Co~missioners Office

Dear Mr. Cook:

We, the residents of Unity Lane, Freedom Acres, Concord,
North Carolina, request your involvement in the issue
our still unpaved road.

The last house construction on our road was finished in
Se fall of 1979, thereby fulfilling all requirements of
Mr. G. Raiford Trou~an of Trbutman Enterprises, the
developer of Freedom Acres. As Mr. Troutman told residents
that the road would be paved in the spring of 1979, we do
not understand the delays in the completion of the road.

All of us on Uni~ Lane share a great deal of pride in our
growing co--unity. We believe this could be one of the
finest residential areas in C~arrus County. It continues
to be wery frustrating ms we ~hare our beautiful homes
wis the su~er dust and the winter mud that comes from our
~paved road.

We are ~erefore asking for your intervention in this matter
and will look fo~ard to hearing from you.

Sincerely yours,

Residents of Uni~ Lane

cc: Mr. Billy Plummer
