The contract period is for October 1, 1980 through Septem- <br /> ber 30, 1981. <br /> <br /> These bids were advertised by Centralina Council of Governments <br /> for the region and for the individual counties in the region. <br /> After considering the regional bids, each participating nutrition <br /> project director decided not to accept the regional bids since <br /> some county bids were lower. <br /> <br /> As the nutrition program director for Cabarrus County, I presented <br /> the bids to the Nutrition Project Advism~ Council on June 12, <br /> 1980 and that Council unanimously voted to recommend the low <br /> bidder, Servomatipn, Inc.,.for your consideration. I concur <br /> with that recommendation. <br /> <br /> Would the Board of Con~issioners please award the bid at your <br /> July meeting so that the bidders can be ngtified within the 45 <br /> day time period specified in the bid instructions. <br /> <br /> Questions may be directed to Mrs. Frances Long or Hike Hunsuck. <br /> Sincerely, <br /> <br /> S~e B.
